Microtek Scanmaker 5800 driver?

I've got this Microtek Scanmaker 5800 scanner sitting right next to my PB. I used this on my HP PC before I got the PB, but now the PC is absolutely obsolute so I'd like to use it on my PB.

However... Microtek's website is possibly one of the worst websites I've ever been to. I do a search for my scanner, and it shows me the program that I need to use to be able to use it. However, they fail to tell you before downloading that it supports the 5600, 5700, and the 6000, but not the 5800. There is no way to download individual drivers on their website, as I've got the software, I just need the driver!

Does anyone have this driver or know of someway to get my scanner to be recognized?

I had the same problem with trying to connect a microtek scanner to my mac. HUGE pain in the rear.
