Macs usually end up with some sort of nick name to differentiate the model years. Which name do you think will stick?

I like AlumiMac personally, it most accurately describes the most prominent design change of the new models, plus the words aluminium and iMac sandwich together quite nicely.

The alternative would be iMac SR to reflect the new Santa Rosa chipset... or at a pinch, the GlossiMac but that's not really as good. ;)

Maybe you should try changing this to a poll?

Right now, Apple seems to be going with:

Intel-based iMac (Mid 2007)

I like Aluminum iMac or something like that. I do not like Aluminimac or anything of the sort. :D

I like GlossiMac . Rolls easier off the tongue. And highlights one of the main caveats people have with it.
