mid 2007 Imac MEMORY Question

I am thinking that my imac containing PC2-5300 DDR2-667 CL5 200Pin SODIMM should be compatible with: PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL5 200 Pin SODIMM.


Would I be correct in that assumption?

if that other ram you have is backwards compatible then yes, you are correct

Buy from Crucial or OWC so you'll 100% get the right RAM. Macs are picky at RAM so some doesn't work
