Hi,
Sorry if this question has been asked, I have searched all over Google and I am having no luck, so I'm just wondering if anyone has encountered this problem.
Basically, If I leave my Mac idle it turns itself off. If I am on it and moving the mouse or typing I can stay on it as long as I want, just cannot leave it idle. Which is not ideal when wanting to watch films on it. It usually turns off after 2 - 3 minutes or so when left, it comes up saying "are you sure you want to shut down" and comes up with the options to "sleep" and etc.
I find this weird because if its in use its fine, but as soon as I leave it, it turns off. I have been into energy saver option and it is all set to never.
I am on 10.6.8 and I don't think I have a recovery partition as it don't do anything when I press COMMAND+R on start-up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
