Hi There,

I have a mid 2009 Macbook Air 2.13ghz variant and the logic board has broken.

I have been looking everywhere on Ebay and other places and whilst there are plenty of mid 2009 Macbook Air 1.8ghz boards around the 2.13 ones are rarer than rocking horse ******.

Does anyone know if you can put a mid 2009 1.8 board in place of a 2.13?

many thanks in advance.

Neil.

Don't come back and yell at me if this pans out to be incorrect... But I'm almost positive you can. I only say "almost positive" because I've never swapped one out for the other. I have however repaired a hundred or so original MacBook Airs and I don't recall seeing any variance in the connections or fitments within the same generations.

Based on that I'd personally be comfortable ordering one and giving it a shot.

Good luck!
