my track pad is late and not really responsive unless i do tap to click which is a no problem for me but i wanna know whats making it do that...

How old is the battery? And what does battery condition say?

Also, any swelling of the keyboard or trackpad when viewed on edge.

I agree with Jerryk, sounds like a battery swelling issue. Had the same thing happen to mine. Opened up the bottom, replaced the battery, and all was good.

i checked the battery, its not it. Lol.
[doublepost=1508203909][/doublepost]somehow i think i fixed it by pressing hard against the trackpad corners though. We'll see. I made an appointment with apple tomorrow noon.
