My Mid-2010 13" MBP still runs really well. It is a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB, (320GB hard drive thats about 2/3 full).

There are occasional odd things like any computer, but I am pretty content. With my specs and the comp being over two years old, I'm wondering how well it would handle the upgrade to Mountain Lion.

I couldn't tell from the forums (as forums are going to be biased towards complaints and problems) how well my generation MBP does with OSX ML, so I was wondering if anyone out there has a better idea?

thanks a lot!

i have a MBA late 2010 with very similar specs to your MPB, and ML runs extremely well - even better than Lion i might add.

IF you are having issues with your mac you might want to take the opportunity to do a clean install of the new OS though.
