hi all, I have purchase a clone optibay from ebay. Installed it and everything worked like a charm and regonized by the Mac. However, I am unable to install boot camp with my USB external DVD drive. I also tried partitioning my flash drive and install from flash..but I can't seem to get it working. Any suggestions?

Boot Camp Assistant is only useful in single drive configurations, and as you have found installing from USB isn't trivial. (Generally doesn't seem to work).

Can you build the system with the original DVD drive and the drive you want Windows on, do the install and then remove the DVD drive? You might eb able to move the Windows partition with Winclone once you get it installed to an internal drive.
