Mid 2010 15" screen not coming back up after sleep

Ever since I installed that update for the display issue with the mid 2010's (which is a problem that I never had) every 5 or 6 times I will go to use my computer the rest of the machine will awake from sleep but not the screen, I have to close it and open it again for the screen to turn on again.

Anyone else had this problem? ? ?

Man i had the same problem on my mid 2010 and it turned out to be a logic board problem take it to apple as soon as you can to run some tests. I hope you have applecare. what will happen is if you try to install the osx again it wont

Really??? I hope its not a logic board thing. Did yours do it recently or since day one because mine just started doing it and only since that recent update. I'll take it in to see what they say but I would be pissed if it is the logic board, I've never once had a problem with this machine and it doesn't have a single blemish on it, seems weird that it would start doing something all of the sudden.
