Mid-2010 i5 MBP 15" closing down

I've had it happened several times in the past few weeks. It's def a kernel panic and probably related to that f***ed up dual graphics card issue. I've been using gfkcard status and I'm trying to keep it on "integrated only." But sometimes it still switches. I also dumped Chrome, which uses discrete. Anything else I can do to avoid the sudden shutdowns? I missed the apple window some weeks back to offer a free fix. I wonder if a NICE genius would do it?????
