Good morning,

I just bought a new laptop - Macbook Air which will be working Mavericks.

My old laptop is from Mid-2010
Part number - MC372LL/A

My question:
Right now I have 4 RAM gb. Since I will keep this computer for probably 5 more years. Should I update 8 RAM?

I have 500 hard drive. Should I change this hard drive to SSD?

Once I more all these items, should I put update Mavericks?

cheers
Stu

I am running a 2010 model with mavericks and imo it's the best build since snow leopard.
If you really want do speed up your mac get 8GB RAM and a SSD (the difference is unbelievable - and both got relatively cheap in the last years! ).
