I have a Mid-2010 MBP 13" and right now, i am running in clamshell mode with the AC adapter plugged in. I'd like to know if the battery will deteriorate over time if i do not remove the AC adapter after my laptop's been charged to 100%.

The battery will degrade over time regardless, because that's how batteries work.

But i mean in the older 2009 models, they used a different kind of battery, and Apple recommended remove the AC adapter once it's fully charged to maximize the life of the battery.

I heard 2010+ models use a different type of battery and the removal of AC adapter after fully charged is not necessary, but i wanted to double check with real MBP users.

If you're using it 24/7, keeping it plugged in will degrade the battery less than running it completely down every few hours. Plus, what option do you have for constant use? Keep unpugging/plugging it in every few hours? Just keep it plugged in and enjoy your Mac ;)

Awesome!
