Mid 2010 SSD > 2011MBP? Ram?

Hey guys,

How easy would it be for me to use my SSD in the 2011MBP? Do I need to reload OSX at all on the drive, or can I just pop it in, and the drivers will be there?

Just worried that I won't have the drivers available if I just take it out of the 2010 and put it into the 2011


I also already have 8GB of RAM. Can I swap that too, or did they change it?

It'll be compatible. All you need to do it stick it in the slot and turn it on. It's like any other hard drive.

thanks for the info! What about the ram? Is it the exact same ram between 2010 and 2011?
