Mid 2011 iMac HDD r/w SLOW! Help

I've been trying to find what other peoples results have been when benchmarking their HDD's with this model, but have found very little information. I have been getting bt 65-80 MB/s both read and write with the latest version of Blackmagic Disk Speed Test. If anyone knows wether this is slower than normal and has any suggestions as to speeding it up… It would be greatly appreciated! I would love to avoid both the cost and the risk of installing an SDD if at all possible.
