Mid 2012 Macbook Air 13" - trade for Mid 2011 21.5" imac?

All things considered. . . would a Mid 2012 Macbook Air 13" i5, 128GB SSD, 4GB ram be a good trade for a 2011 Mid 2011 21.5" iMac - i5 - 500GB - 16GB ram?

I feel like they are probably the same value but wanted to ask the community their thoughts!
