Mid 2012 MBA delayed wifi pickup

Used to snag the closest one in my house almost immediately, but now is taking a long time. What could have happened to change the acquisition time?

Interference. Hard to pin down a specific reason but if somebody near you got a new router or a new device it might be causing traffic/interference on that frequency channel. Not much you can do about it other than change the channel on your router...

I have the same MBA, and the same situation here. WIFI is not connecting quickly anymore
