Hello All!

After much research I have decided to purchase a new 2012 MBP 15" (2.3GHz).
Before I start I must say I am clueless when it comes to Memory technical specs.

I intend on replacing Apple's standard 2X2GB of RAM with my own 2x8GB RAM.
I was wondering what the differences/compatabilities are between 1600 MHz and 1333MHz and also what are the best/usable RAM latency timings (I know that the lower the nubmer the better, but I am wondering what is the real performance difference).

Thanks

*I checked this guide but it has no information on the new Mid-2012 MBP's

Difference between 1600mhz and 1333mhz is insignificant. Latency times as well for a regular consumer. Make sure its a Non-Retina model, otherwise is not user replaceable.
