Having already had my logic board replaced for a graphics card failure, my dedicated graphics card has now completely given up the ghost. Every time it switches to dedicated graphics, I lose the display completely.

Unfortunately I'm out of apple care, but I really need to get another year out of it before I replace, so I'd rather fix it.

Has anyone else had similar problems, and found a solution? Or is this the new Nvidia dying a death problem, which apple will continue to ignore until people buy new ones.

It's a known issue and Apple's issued a recall, see post above.
