MID 2013 NOT FIRING UP. BROKEN IN BRAZIL!

I have a 2013 MacBook Air 13 and went to bed last night and woke up to computer dead and green light not on. Plugged my charger into my mates Mac and green light. Ok. Plugged his charger in to mine and green light but goes dim. Tried the shift, control, option, power button to no avail. Thoughts? Thanks

Disconnect the battery, connect the charger but don't touch the machine. Hopefully, the machine will turn itself on in about 40 seconds.
