Mid-2013 won't reboot/restart.

'Merica!
I don't know when this started exactly, but when I tried to reboot to install the latest 10.11.1 update I found out my computer won't reboot. At all. Through the App Store or from the menu bar (apple icon)..

Should I contact Apple or is there a simple fix for this?
