I'm about to upgrade my Mid-2007 15in MacBook Pro to the Mid-2014 15in MBP. I know Yosemite is around the corner, so I have a few questions:

1) Will the keyboard function keys be changed with the release of Yosemite? As you may know, my current function keys are somewhat outdated.

2) Will Macs with Yosemite pre-installed have a different version of Bootcamp? Or can I expect the latest MBP with Mavericks to have the same Boot Camp capabilities as the same MBP with Yosemite?

Yosemite itself doesn't change the function keys. Those are hardware-specific. A 2014 rMBP has different function keys compared to your 2007 MBP. I think the last update to function keys was when Lion launched.

Unless a new version comes out by then, no. Boot camp versions don't follow OS X versions. For instance, the last two versions were released in March 2013 and February 2014. There probably won't be any update before Windows 8.2 (or whatever the next Windows update is).
