I have a mid 2015 Macbook Pro with Big Sur 11.4. I have tried to find out what its "battery health" status might be, and can't figure out how to find it.

All the so-called "help" I can get from Apple's web site is an instruction to click in the lower right of the Preferences->Battery pane on "battery health."

Only, it isn't there...

Has that function been eliminated, or does it only appear if the battery is in some kind of trouble?

Tom

I click on the Apple menu in the upper right corner and select About This Mac. It brings up a Window and I click on System Report. It brings up another window and I select Power on the left side and then I get all of the battery information.

ps,

Thank you very much! The magic word that I didn't think about was "power." I looked for "battery" without success, even through the so-called help system.

Power did the trick. I was able to see the number of cycles and the capacity.
