After having taken a one semester course on Flash and ActionScript at college this past year, I have landed myself as Flash Developer for a campus based company HeartLand View. While I am obviously qualified enough for the position, since I got the job, I would like to continue to advance my knowledge and skill in Flash and ActionScript. Can anyone suggest some sources to help guide my studies into mid-level and advanced Flash techniques. I am fairly self-driven and I think that the best way would be material that guides me through projects that tap into the great Flash resources.

BTW, I am using Flash MX. Thanks for the suggestions! :D

It all depends on what you want to do with it - the expandability of Flash is huge. You going to be working with Databases, XML, PHP, javascript, etc.

There are a lot of resources out there, but one of my favorites is www.friendsofed.com - they have a large series of books that have some really good examples and tutorials. Not to mention a nicely set up website for support and downloads :D
