mid2010 core i7 iMac and Yosemite

I got a mid 2010 27" 2.93GHz iMac and i want to go from SnowLeopard to Yosemite. Has anyone with a similar iMac done this transition? How is the iMac going? Any faster or any slower? Id be very happy to know possible issues that you have encountered!
