Mid2011 iMac pair with 4K monitor

I just got a Samsung 4K monitor and I'm trying to get it to work with a Mid 2011 iMac. Can my Mac drive this thing? If so...How do I set it up to get the full 3840X2160 res? And what would be the best cable to use?
