Hi,

I would like to have a middle click to open and close tabs just with the touchpad and without holding the cmd key first. (lazy as I am, I love using just one hand to surf the web)
Is there any way to do this? (please don't say right click first and then open new tab or close tab)

I'm so confused. What web browser are you using that doesn't have the ability to open/close tabs with just one click? Both Google Chrome and Safari do that, which should be the only two browsers considered on a Mac.

The OP seems to want to open links in background tabs with one click, as Glims does offer that ability for Safari (but Glims doesn't work yet with Safari 5.1).

Both Google Chrome and Safari do that, which should be the only two browsers considered on a Mac.

There are also Firefox and Opera to consider, as there are lot of people with different needs.
