Middle Mouse Button Simulation?

Hey guys, I'm going to be using Shake over the weekend on my new MBP, and I wondered if there are any geniuses out there who might be able to help me simulate a Middle Mouse Button Click using simply the MBP. I want to find a way to do this without using a mouse. Is this possible? Any kind of applescript or keyboard shortcut that can be set up to activate a Middle Mouse Click? Any help would be amazing and much appreciated!

I just found out that holding option and then clicking and dragging gets the job done, at least in Shake. Any other approaches to this, say middle mouse button for use in Maya?

I got yelled at for asking about a middle mouse button on a Mac once. It was when people were suggesting...TWO buttons and I said 'what about a middle'?

Careful, the PowerPC crew will come down on you hard.

That said, the only middle click *I've* found is from actually getting a real mouse that has one
