I have a some what old Logitech Bluetooth mouse, that has served me well for a decade. I dont know the model number, since the sticker under the mouse has rubbed off over time.
Recently, I have been running in to issues with clicking on the wheel, which acts as shortcut to open a link in a new tab. At times it works and at times it doesn't work. In some cases, it double-double clicks from a single click and two tab web pages will open up. And at times, I have to hold down the wheel for an extra second or two longer.
The mouse it self is in great condition, clean in and out. I use rechargeable Eneloop batteries, and rotate two pairs every few months.
One day it works perfect on Youtube and next day it doesn't work at all on YouTube, when clicking down on the wheel. Same goes for almost any website.
The mouse settings in MacOs are very limited and I dont have any software installed for my mouse either.
Are there any settings in MacOS I should be looking at, or I can change to improve the function or responsiveness when I click on the wheel??
Thanks in advance.
