Hi all,
In GB's documentation (as much as I've read which I'll admit is not much) I seem to recall seeing that midi control is limited to notes, velocity, pitch bend and modulation.
However, I now have my M-audio Ozone working (at least as a keyboard controller and sound output device), and recently while playing with the rock organ software instrument, I reached for the headphone volume knob and accidentally grabbed one of the midi knobs - and it markedly alters the sound - not pitch bend or mod either. I believe that the vintage keyboard sounds are based on code from the Logic electric piano/clavinet/B3 emulations, and I'm wondering if the midi control of these hasn't been entirely stripped from the software.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Unfortunately, I'm a total midiot - my idea of sophisticated midi implimentation is hooking up my roland multitrack to my drum machine so that they both start when I push play on the multitrack. So I was also wondering whether anyone had managed to find any more controllers that work on the keyboard instruments.
Please let me know, I'm trying to figure out the whole midi (and keys playing) thing, and I'd love to be able to manipulate the sounds more in real time (so I can record to my roland using GB as a sound source) (it's what I'm familiar with, and change comes slow).
Steve
