Hello,
I was wandering if it is possible to use a midi output from a midi file (impossible with Garage Band), wether it is a plugin, a shareware, freeware (the best..) or whatever kind of app, as long as it works.
Even as a DJ, my collegues who use a the big slider thing, I just want to take my MacBook on-the-go and send out midi files everywhere.

Thank you!
PS: my configuration is an Intel based MacBook OS 10.5 Leopard.

You're question is a little confusing.

You have some MIDI files and you want to play them from your MacBook through a mixer. Is that correct?

Thanks.
But no, imagine I have a keyboard at home, and my MacBook connected to this midi compatible keyboard. What I want to do is take a midi file (if nessesary only one track of it) and play it on the piano, automatically.
Only problem is Garage Band 08 (and maybe others) can't do this, all it does is enable me to play on the piano and get the notes in the current track.

Hope it is precise enough...

Just one thing, I apologise if I'm being patronising.

Your keyboard is a sound source isn't it?

...

I went on the rondo website, saw the "output" part, asked a friend about it and he said "Don't know how to make it work..."

Ok. Let's see if there's help around here.

What make is your MIDI keyboard?
