Hey guys,

I was wondering if anybody here could help me out. I googled it and it didn't help out as much. I have this Shure Mic and it has MIDI input and would like to have some kind of adapter to firewire. I know there is an USB adapter, but i would like to use firewire. It can be firewire 400 or 800. I like to record some songs for GarageBand. Thanks.

Mike

Either you're confused or you have a very strange piece of hardware on your hands. Most mics have XLR-connections, for which you will need an audio interface with a suitable XLR input for. You have quite many to choose from, but Presonus makes reputable ones, I recommend checking out the Firebox (which also has MIDI input, in case that is what you have on your mic :p ).

You know...I'm sorry. I think its not MIDI...I mustve been thinking about keyboards or something...jeez...
