Thank you for joining the midomi community. My name is Catherine and I will be happy to help you with your question.
We are working as fast as we can to make the midomi application available for the iPod Touch.
Since the iPod Touch models do not have built in microphones, users of the new generation of iPod Touch devices will need to connect a compatible headset in order to use midomi's Sing, Say, and Grab searches. One such compatible headset is the "Apple Stereo Headset" available soon from the Apple Store.
Unfortunately, the original generation of iPod Touch devices are not compatible with any microphones that we know of, so they will only work with midomi's text search, not the Sing, Say, or Grab searches.
We do hope that you will check us out at www.midomi.com; you can still find music, watch videos, and sing songs!
