The car charger for my Blackberry has a USB port in it.
If I plug the car charger in and then plug the mifi into the car charger USB port, will that charge it?
Or is there a 12V car adapter for it?

It will charge fine with that. The MiFi is not picky about signal types.

No it won't and yes it is. I can't get mine to charge on any of the chargers I have. It will maintain a charge but not charge. There are chargers out there that will. I'm not willing yet to spend the $27 or so it takes to do it.

Then there's something wrong with your MiFi.

I have owned both the Verizon and now Virgin Mobile models. Both charge fine as long as it's microUSB. Doesn't matter if I use the car charger, a USB into a car charger USB port, a computer, etc. Doesn't matter.

Mifi special charger

My ATT mifi won't charge with just any USB 12v charger. Charges just fine with the 120v charger that came with it, but not with a car USB charger (that works fine with my iPhone) and the micro USB that the mifi came with.

They are picky

All depends on the mA/W rating of the particular charger. If it is less than the requirement for the Mifi, it won't charge. If it is equal it may only maintain the charge. If it is greater it should charge.
