Although I doubt it's for good I have went back to using my linksys router which I gave up on months ago when my ipad2 requested a new network. I bought a net gear route and it was great until two weeks after unboxing my new iPad. Suddenly wifi weakened depending on where I was located in my home. The first two weeks ipad3 was strong and crisp.
I just went back over to my linksys router exclusively and my signal indicator matches the ultra fast browsing speeds for the last hour. No matter where I am it is super fast. Almost instantaneously am I getting full pages and change overs.
Hope it stays in this pattern. Of course it should be reliable without issue always. At this point I'm not sure if it is an iPad that needs replacement or it's one of the devices that people here state are great since day 1.

A day later and linksys router has managed to give me crisp , ultra fast browsing.
Hope it lasts
