Buying a new MBP tomorrow, and It's time to replace my 9 year old wired logitech mouseman wheel. I loved this mouse, really did, but 9 years of hand grime are starting to cut away at it. Anyway I like the look of the mighty mouse, and I like that it's bluetooth and requires no dongle for wireless, but I do game occasionally, and I understand that it's complete cr*p for doing so. the lack of two button click etc.

Anybody have any viable bluetooth alternatives to recommend? I saw the Microsoft wireless 8000. Looks nice, feels sacrilegious to use on a brand new MBP though. Logitech makes great products, but I don't like the dongles. annoying to have to use up 1 of my USB ports.

Current solution is just to buy a mighty mouse for daily use, and pick up a wired razer mouse for use only when gaming. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

(and using the trackpad isn't a good alternative, as when home it's hooked up to an external monitor)

If you're willing to spend $100.000, here's pretty much the best Mac Mouse as of right now:
MX Revolution

Also, there's already a post for this.

I absolutely love Razer mice.

I use one at work and cannot do retouching to other photography work without it. I have a Radtech BT600 wireless mouse for my MBP at home, and, although it's a very nice mouse for general things, it just isn't precise enough for precision photoshop work. I'd recommend trying a Razer mouse before making a purchase.

I agree - Razer Mice are great. It is for gamers by gamers :D

I would also recommend the Razer Diamondback:
