Hi, i got my first ever Macintosh today (Alu iMac, Leopard)

i THINK i have a problem with the mouse (wired version)

I can't 'right-click'. I've been to System Preferences and set right-click as the Secondary Button.

Also, the side-buttons wont work. Both left and right side are set to 'Expose' but when i push them in nothing happens. When i first set the iMac up this morning i tried them and they worked fine with Expose, but 3 hours later they wont work :(

Thanks for the help.

as far as the right click goes, make sure you're not touching *anything* other than the right side of the mouse.

I don't have a problem with mine, but others have reported trouble getting this "touch" right.

Its not working :(

The side buttons wont work either, not sure what to do

Weird, did you reboot?

Often I find there just kind of stubborn (the side buttons), it seems like when I brush them accidently they go off, but when I'm squeezing I can't seem to get it done.

If you are bothered by it I would defiantly swap it for a USB mouse.

Yeh i did reboot 2 or 3 times while it was not working but it was still the same.

My finger accidently slipped onto one of the side buttons and it worked again. Its working right now too.

Weird.
