So I want to hear from users of the new mighty mouse, what do you like and dislike about your mouse? I have used it in the apple store, and I don't really like the design, as it is relatively hard to grip. I appreciate your feedback.

The scroll ball fails very quickly even if you clean it. If you didn't like it there's nothing wrong with getting any other USB mouse on earth.

yep, scroll wheel gets dirty - vigorous rubbing on cotton seems to clean it up just fine. You can tell because you stop getting the fine clicking feedback as you scroll.

I find the side buttons too sensitive - so I turned them off.

Other than it it's good.

You guys must need to wash your hands, I've had my mighty mouse for almost 2 years with zero track ball issues

well the right click sucks. Maybe its just mine but the whole detecting which finger is on the mouse thing doesn't work so great. But I only really notice it when I'm using 3D modeling apps that require the use of all 3 buttons. Personally I just like buttons and the whole 1 button does all doesn't work so great for me. And its expensive.

exactly. if you keep the scroll ball clean - then it won't fail. however i have cleaned used Mighty Mouse's and re-enabled scrolling on 2, and re enabled everything except for downward scrolling on another.

i think it is very sleek. i love the expose and dashboard shortcuts on the mouse. i absolutely love everything about it. i do wish that you could open it to clean the scroll ball (i haven't had a problem, but i bet it would be nice to blow with compressed air from the inside out) and for less fragile scrolling parts.

besides for the troubles i have seen - mine has treated me great, i'm on year 3!

no problems what-so-ever with right click detection, and for a while i was a single click fanboy :)

just got tired of control+click after about a year - especially after living at my girlfriends and getting used to the dashboard+right click buttons...
