My Mighty Mouse scroll ball has issues scrolling down. As in, sometimes it won't and it won't make the fake scrolling click noises either. Like it needs to be cleaned or something. How best to solve this issue?

I've heard of people using canned dusters to clean them out.

I really think a mod should Sticky This Thread - I see too many Mighty Mouse won't scroll threads, but anyways try some of the methods in that thread.

That thread gave me an idea. I turned the mouse upside down and rolled it around on it's scroll ball vigorously on a soft mouse pad. Now it seems to work perfectly.

That was what worked for me too :).

I agree

A sticky thread for this issue, as well as a sticky thread about web cams and AIM

way too many threads about those two issues..

I've started one of each myself.....

Clean the mouse...roll it upside down on a wet cloth, and then scroll the Hell out of it.....dig down into the ball thing....

worked for me...
