I'm not sure. I bought a Mighty Mouse to go with my MBP and there was no CD in the box.

But, can you manage the buttons on your macbook pro now? (without the software?)

Yes, once I plugged the mouse in, Leopard knew this and gave me the screen to configure the buttons.

Just use system preferences and navigate to the mouse prefs.... failing that I use MZoom for my MM.

You don't need the CD. And you can ALWAYS download the software for almost ANY driver, just do a simple search or go to the company site.
