Does anyone know if the Mighty Mouse is under warranty if the scroll ball dies? My friend wants to know, he got a new iMac less than a month ago and the ball is dead already. Will Apple give you a replacement if the ball dies?

He was talking about me (I can make my own threads )

Anyway, just got off the phone to Apple and they're sending me a replacement (They guy had just got off the phone to someone with the same issue, and apparently Apple is out of stock mouse-wise... Hmmm... Obviously not an isolated case :p)

I gather that you already tried to clean it by rolling it upside down. I had one replaced about 6 months ago because the scroll ball button stopped working. Nice mice, poorly executed.

Yeah I did :(

and that sucks.

But I do agree. Nice mice, just bad quality! (Kinda like a bunch of other Apple products, these days)

Want a Logitech MX Revolution, though... Just need money for software first!
