I have an Elgato hybrid for testing, and it works fine with EyeTV. However, a friend suggested the cheaper Miglia TVmini2 device, which I bought. It doesn't detect any channels, and the problem lies in the Tube, not in the device itself - according to their tech-support, the Tube doesn't support MPEG4 signals if they are encoded as AVC/h264 (yet), and this is exactly how my country (Latvia) is transmitting their DVB-T free TV.
The question is - are The Tube and EyeTV the only programs for DVB-T TV viewing?
EyeTV doesn't support the new Miglia devices, and because of the h264 incompatibility, the Tube is also not an option any more. Am I stuck with hardware that I can't use?
