Migrate from Aperture to Photo - excessive files

Hi all

Upon migrating from Aperture to Photos, I've noticed that loads of unnecessary (or as it seems) have been migrated over.

I've created a fresh library and these files are not present. Obviously, I don't want to start fresh but wonder if it would be safe to delete these files.
