iPad Migrate from iPad2 5.1.1 JB to iPad3 6.1 JB

My son has an iPad 2 with 5.1.1 and Jailbroken. I want to give him an iPad3 that has 6.1 on it. I can obviously JB 6.1 which is cool.

What's the easiest/best way to transfer everything across from the iPad2 to the iPad3? All app store apps will come back down from the app store, so that's not a problem. However, all the game/app data won't be. I will be a dead man if I lose his game statuses and Minecraft data

Can I dump out all the application files on the iPad2 with a file explorer app on the mac, such as DiskAid, and just copy them back onto the iPad3?

Just back up the iPad in iTunes.

 

[Applejuiced]

Backup your ipad 2, then plug in the ipad 3 and select restore from backup.
That will copy all the app data and the rest of the settings.
