migrate photos from osx photos to windows 10

I would like to help a friend migrate her entire photo library currently in photos app to a windows 10 laptop. I did not recommend the windows laptop by the way but her imac is very old and she needed a cheap computer. Is there a simple way to export all photos to original jpegs? Any way to maintain some sort of organization of events/moments? Thanks.
