Next week I should be taking possession of a refurbished mid/late 2015 27" 5K iMac. This will be a replacement for the wife's 4.5 year old 27" iMac, which has never been updated since 10.7.5 Lion.
I will have to take a closer look, but I am running Time Machine to an external USB2 drive. I do not know, however, how TM is configured, and with my luck (pun) it probably isn't grabbing everything.
I was thinking of either adding or replacing the existing external HDD that TM is using and then setting about configuring TM to grab everything, but even then I have to wonder what it will not be grabbing.
So, is there anything I should be aware of before moving forward?
