Okay, so I have an iMac that I use for my home computer, but I still like having a laptop for on the couch and travel. I was using an iPad but REALLY wanted a keyboard. AND an MBP anyhow...

So when I check my mail on the iPad if I delete it, it gets removed from the server and is gone. But if I just read it and leave it, then it pulls off the server when I check mail from my iMac. Is there a way to set up the MBP do leave the copy on the server unless I delete it? Then when I check them on my iMac it pulls them from the server and they disappear off the MBP? This has been a very nice way for me to manage my mail. I haven't seen a setting that allows this.

TIA for any help.

Now off to search on how to get movies/music from my iMac over to the MBP so I can watch/listen to them at work, and away from home.
