I am getting rid of my 15" MBP and will be replacing it with a 13" MBA. In the MBP, I removed the optical drive and replaced it with an MCE Optibay and moved the factory HDD to the optical bay spot. Then I installed an OWC SSD in the original HDD spot. The OS and Applications live on the SSD and the HDD has my user folder. I am doing a time machine backup right now and will also do a Super Duper backup of both discs. My question is, how do I ensure that both discs are properly "merged" onto the single SSD in the new Air? Is it even an issue? Can I just tell the Air to restore from my new time machine backup and leave it at that? How would I do it with Super Duper since it looks like that program will back up the drives separately? TIA!
