My PC documents are backed up on a Seagate drive via Memeo Backup Premium V 4.70.0.7970.
Will I be able to plug the Seagate into the iMac and restore these files to the new machine?

It depends what Memeo does. Assuming it doesn't do any fancy compression or anything else that's proprietary you should be good. If you can just browse the backed up files on the seagate from the PC without going through a Memeo interface you should be good.

It looks like memeo is similar to Time Machine for the Mac. You might have trouble migrating the data since it does multiple versions.

I would export all of your data to a regular drive then use that to import to the Mac.
