hi .. I just bought a new Mac, and I saw many reviews to set it up as new because the old Mac I was using for the last 5 years so I don't want to copy everything (includes spam files) again from my old Mac to the new Mac ... so I moved my files manually ..

however now I want to move my old iTunes music library (including the playlists) from my old Mac to the new Mac .. I tried using migration assistant however when I chose the Music file only, there is other (Library) file which is around 49GB that MUST be copied as well .. this Library file is the Mac system files ..

I called Apple and the agent on the phone was not sure if I did that migration will it be migrate the system files as well or not?

so I want to know is there any way that I can migrate my old iTunes library file without moving my old system files from my old Mac to the new Mac??
