hi

just migrating my apps/docs from my imac to my macbook manually (migration assistant would have taken my entire account which I didnt' need as I already had a setup on my macbook. anyway..)

I'm a bit stuck with parallels. Is there any way to transfer over the application and the virtual disc with windows media center installed on it? Or do I have to reinstall both parallels and media center and the apps I installed in media center?

I think that it's enough if you'll install Parallels on your new machine and then, once you've turned off the VM (and not just suspended it) copy its files (.mem, .pvs as well as the shared folder) to the new machine. You will have to reconfigure the location of the shared folder, though.
